Transoil 250 is a premium non-EP, API GL-1 certified SAE 250 gear oil created exclusively for use with veteran, vintage, and Edwardian gearboxes, transaxles, and certain spur and bevel type rear axles. It has no strong load-carrying additives that could cause corrosion damage to the ferrous and nonferrous metals utilised in these vehicles.

Application
Transoil 250 is ideal for manual transmissions and transaxles in veteran, vintage, and Edwardian vehicles.

Transoil 250 is ideal for use in the rear axles of veteran cars with one, two, or four cylinders. It contains a unique ingredient that improves the oil's weight carrying capabilities. Avoid contact with any water or moisture, since this may cause seal breakdown. This oil is compatible with both leather and synthetic rubber seals.

Transoil 250 can be used with older hypoid gear sets.

Please keep in mind that, while this oil has qualities similar to the old 600W or steam cylinder oils, it should not be utilised as such.
