Rubber Grease is a high-quality, NLGI No. 2 clay-based grease including castor oil for use in areas where natural and/or synthetic rubber may come into contact.

Application
Rubber Grease is suitable for use on automotive, industrial, and consumer rubber items such as hydraulic dust covers, brake system components, seals, and washers. It is specifically designed for use on rubber components in hydraulic systems, where compatibility with rubber seals is critical. It can also be utilised in conjunction with other rubber components found in similar systems, such as gaiters or boots. It is also suitable for use as an automotive tyre mounting tool.

Rubber grease is also recommended for applications that require resistance to hydrocarbon solvents, such as automotive shock absorbers.

Rubber grease can be used to assemble platen rollers for the printing industry. This grease is used as a lubricant to aid in the insertion of the steel mandrel into the extremely tight rubber exterior.

NOTE: Penrite Rubber Grease is not recommended for lubricating and protecting brake backing plates and plunger housings.

Recommended Operating Range: -9° to 80°.
